How to Make Homemade Fresh Salsa and Homemade Taco Seasoning Mix

Whether for yourself or for gifts there is nothing like homemade goodies. Here are recipes for you to make your own salsa and homemade taco seasoning mix. These items are sure to have family and friends asking about your recipe. So keep some extra jars in your pantry. When family and friends compliment your food, you can offer them their own jar. These are also perfect for giving at holiday time, as housewarming gifts, or as hostess gifts. Cut a pretty piece of fabric that matches the opportunity and put it over the lid. Tie it on with a pretty ribbon or piece of raffia.

1 tsp garlic powder
1 tsp dried oregano

Note: When handling jalapeño peppers, it is a good idea to use plastic gloves. Do not touch your face or eyes when handling these jalapeños.
